NFL 2026: where the national games air, window by window
A plain guide to who shows what in the 2026 NFL season: Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Thursday, Monday, the holidays, and the playoffs, with the remaining Sunday-night games listed.

Nobody shows every NFL game any more. In 2026 the games are spread across three broadcast networks, ESPN and ABC, Amazon, Netflix, and the league's own channel, which now belongs to ESPN. Instead of one list of everything, this guide goes window by window and names the game and the channel for the ones we can source. It is current as of November 1, 2026, Week 8.
One caution: the league can move games into and out of primetime. Games marked flexible can change with 6 to 12 days' notice, and all of Week 18 is listed as "to be determined" until Week 17 ends.
Sunday afternoon: CBS and FOX
This is the regional window. CBS carries the AFC package and FOX the NFC package. Each network has ten Sundays with a doubleheader (1:00 and 4:25 p.m. ET) and eight with a single game; on most weeks one network has the doubleheader and the other has the single game. The game you get depends on your local station. Paramount+ simulcasts CBS games and Fox One simulcasts FOX games.
If you want to see games that are not on your local station, that is NFL Sunday Ticket. In 2026 it is sold through YouTube TV or as a standalone add-on in YouTube Primetime Channels. We do not list a price because we could not read one from a source we are allowed to use.
Sunday night: NBC and Peacock
NBC has Sunday Night Football and shows 22 regular-season games and three playoff games this season. Peacock streams every NBC game. These are the Sunday-night games still to come, as NBC lists them:
| Date | Game | Network |
|---|---|---|
| Nov 1 | Philadelphia at Washington | NBC, Peacock |
| Nov 8 | Tampa Bay at Chicago | NBC, Peacock |
| Nov 15 | Pittsburgh at Cincinnati | NBC, Peacock |
| Nov 22 | Minnesota vs San Francisco (Mexico City) | NBC, Peacock |
| Nov 26 (Thanksgiving) | Kansas City at Buffalo | NBC, Peacock |
| Nov 29 | New England at Los Angeles Chargers | NBC, Peacock |
| Dec 6 | Houston at Pittsburgh | NBC, Peacock |
| Dec 13 | Buffalo at Green Bay | NBC, Peacock |
| Dec 20 | Detroit at Minnesota | NBC, Peacock |
| Dec 27 | Jacksonville at Dallas | NBC, Peacock |
| Jan 3 | Philadelphia at San Francisco | NBC, Peacock |
| Jan 10 | Week 18 pick, 8:20 p.m. ET | NBC, Peacock |
Thursday: Prime Video
Amazon streams Thursday Night Football, plus the Friday after Thanksgiving ("Black Friday Football") and a Wild Card playoff game. It is the exclusive home of those games, and they also stream on Twitch. The Thursday dates we can name from our sources:
| Date | Game |
|---|---|
| Nov 27 (Friday) | Denver at Pittsburgh |
| Dec 24 | Houston at Philadelphia |
| Dec 31 | Season finale on New Year's Eve (matchup not in our sources) |
| Jan 16 to 18 | One of the Wild Card games, date to be set |
We do not list the other Thursday games because the schedule pages we could use for them have terms we are not comfortable with. A Prime membership is required, and we do not print its price because we could not take one from a source we can use.
Monday: ESPN, sometimes ABC
ESPN has Monday Night Football, and ABC simulcasts ten of the games. There are no longer weeks where ESPN and ABC show different Monday games. We do not list individual Monday matchups here because the schedule pages we could use do not give them. ESPN also produces a Saturday doubleheader in Week 18, on ABC and ESPN.
The holidays and the odd windows
- Wednesday, Nov 25 (Thanksgiving Eve): Green Bay at the Rams on Netflix.
- Thursday, Nov 26 (Thanksgiving): Chicago at Detroit on CBS at 1:00 p.m. ET; Philadelphia at Dallas on FOX at 4:30 p.m. ET (Tubi also simulcasts it for free); Kansas City at Buffalo on NBC at night.
- Friday, Nov 27: Denver at Pittsburgh on Prime Video.
- Saturday, Dec 19: a CBS and FOX doubleheader, with FOX at 5:00 p.m. ET and CBS at 8:20 p.m. ET.
- Friday, Dec 25 (Christmas): Netflix has Green Bay at Chicago and Buffalo at Denver in the afternoon; FOX has the Rams at Seattle at night.
- Saturday, Dec 26: a possible doubleheader on NFL Network, with two of four on-hold games moved there.
- Saturday, Jan 2: NBC at 4:30 p.m. ET, then a Peacock-only game at 8:00 p.m. ET.
- Saturday, Jan 9 (Week 18): planned for Netflix at 1:00 p.m. ET, then ABC and ESPN at 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. ET.
The games abroad: Madrid on November 8 and Munich on November 15, which is on FOX in a morning window, and Mexico City on November 22, which NBC lists as its Sunday-night game. Our sources do not name the U.S. network for Madrid, so check the weekly listing.
The postseason
CBS and FOX each have one Wild Card game; NBC has two and Amazon one. ESPN and ABC have one on a date still to be set. In the Divisional Round, ESPN/ABC, FOX, CBS and NBC each show one game. CBS has the AFC Championship and FOX the NFC Championship on January 31. Super Bowl LXI on February 14 is on ABC and ESPN in English, and ESPN Deportes and Univision in Spanish.
NFL Network and NFL+
NFL Network is now owned by ESPN, which also produces a package of seven national games that air on it. NFL+, the league's own app, shows live local and national games, but only on phones and tablets. A live NFL Network stream and RedZone sit in its tiers; check the current tier prices at the source before you buy.
